How delivery, AI replies and plan limits work.

01How does Instagram comment-to-DM automation work?

Choose a post or Reel, add a keyword and write your DM with the link. When someone comments that keyword, Sayw sends your configured reply. You can add a follower check if you want.

02Will Sayw send unsolicited DMs?

Comment automations respond to the keyword you choose; they do not send cold messages to lists of people. AI Manager handles incoming conversations according to your settings. Instagram’s messaging rules still apply.

03What kind of Instagram account do I need?

Connect an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) through Instagram’s own login. Sayw uses official APIs and does not ask you to share your Instagram password. API access does not exempt an account from Instagram’s rules or limits.

04Can I take over from AI?

Yes. Set AI Manager’s knowledge, tone and handoff rules, then take over a conversation in Chats when you want to reply yourself. AI replies use your plan’s allowance.

05Do I need to keep Sayw open?

No. With an enabled automation and available allowance, Sayw handles matching comments while you are away. You can review sends and errors when you return.

06Can I send a resource only to followers?

Yes. Enable the follower check for an automation. Sayw asks the person to follow, checks again and sends the resource link once the check passes.

07Is there actually a free plan?

Yes. Start with one automation and 200 monthly runs. Free messages include a small “✦ powered by sayw.app” signature.

08What happens when I reach a plan limit?

When an allowance runs out, new actions using it stop. Upgrade or wait for the next billing period. Check Plans for your remaining usage.
