Switch Instagram automation services and avoid duplicate replies

Save your existing flows, test with a temporary keyword, and check scheduled messages before switching one automation at a time.

Decide which service should reply

Someone comments PLAN and two services try to reply. Even if only one message arrives, the overlap makes troubleshooting harder. Connecting Sayw doesn't stop your previous tool.

Inventory each flow's keyword, trigger channel, greeting, buttons, link, and conditions. Include reminders and unfinished exchanges. Every request needs one service responsible for replying.

Keep a copy before switching anything off

Copy the text and resource URLs into a working document. Save an export if your current tool offers one, but check compatibility separately: another service may not restore its buttons, conditions, or conversation history automatically.

Record follow checks, what happens after each button, delayed messages, and older posts still receiving comments. Keep the old settings for reference and a possible return. Transfer only what you need; moving automation text doesn't require copying whole conversations or clients' personal details.

Test with a temporary keyword

If you already have Sayw access, create drafts with the channel, keywords, greeting, action button, and resource delivery. Remove unnecessary screens while preserving the promised resource, stated conditions, and necessary recipient action.

Choose a temporary keyword absent from old flows and public posts. Make sure the old service doesn't reply to every comment; otherwise, even a different keyword would overlap.

Save and enable the temporary flow. A disabled draft can't send messages. Test all the way through opening the resource link, then pause the test flow until you're ready to switch.

Switch one flow at a time

Pick a quiet period outside live streams, campaigns, or launches, and record the switch time. Pausing a flow may not cancel its scheduled messages; check the old service's queue separately.

Sayw's protection against repeat processing cannot control another tool. You still need to separate the active flows.

  • Pause the matching flow in the old service.
  • Check its queued and delayed messages.
  • Confirm that a general auto-reply won't answer the same request.
  • In the paused Sayw flow, replace the temporary keyword with your live keyword, save, and enable it.
  • Run one fresh test with a consenting person.

Check delivery and keep a way back

Look for one expected greeting, a working button, and the correct resource. A newly recorded contact doesn't prove the person completed the flow.

If the test fails, stop the new flow and inspect its pending actions before deciding whether to restore the old one. Running both together makes the overlap worse.

Don't compensate with bulk replies to old comments. Earlier requests don't guarantee Instagram permits a reply now. Use fresh, voluntary requests for testing, then move to the next flow once this one works.
